Eco-Friendly Kitchen

The kitchens is the lifeblood of any home, the beating heart and core. They are the also the most difficult and stressful rooms to design. But when done right, Kitchens can be exceptionally beautiful and an ideal way to represent lifestyle choices. Like this Sebastian Cox kitchen in Camberwell, by deVOL kitchens.

My inbox is filled with designers and brands sending images and press releases of their new products and projects. It is my way of keeping up to trend with all this amazing design content. So I am very excited to bring you this brand new kitchen design.

The Camberwell Kitchen - deVOL Kitchens

This beautiful Sebastian Cox kitchen is part of an Eco friendly home in Camberwell, South London. This simple and minimalist kitchen seems stripped back and devoid of clutter. Some might say that at first glance, this doesn't even look like a kitchen. Which is one of the reasons why I absolutely love it. This kitchen makes you think, it doesn't reveal all of it's secrets immediately. It is a conversation starter and it makes people ask questions to delve in deeper.

This design avoids wall cupboards and keeps the appliances hidden behind timber doors.

Creating a kitchen that is uncluttered and airy. The epitome of minimalist design.

This kitchen is offset with a classic black angle poise wall lights, a cool grey wall and a timeless collection of vintage coloured glassware in subtle pink hues.

Sebastian Cox cupboards used in this kitchen are 'natural' and 'inky blue/black' for the sink cabinet. This little pop of dark intense colour offsets the rest of the kitchen, adding depth and personality to the room. As the owners are passionate about the environment, this natural look and organic feel is perfect for reflecting their Eco-friendly lifestyle.

It's becoming more and more important for us as inhabitant of this world to look the planet and our diverse environments. We are encouraged and advised to cherish the beauty of nature and not be wasteful of our natural resources.

This Sebastian Cox range by deVOL optimises this way of thinking and living. Sustainable English Timber has been used to create a lasting piece of furniture which will age beautifully.

This simple and sleek design makes for the most uplifting, calm and beautiful kitchen.

With one simple run of cupboards with integrated appliances such as a Miele oven, an induction hob and a dishwasher. Tucked away at the end is an elegant tall larder cupboard housing a double pantry and a fridge/freezer.

The sink area has a beautiful contemporary and sleek finish, with a few gadgets. As a kitchen designer, deVOL Kitchens tend to not include gadgets in their kitchens, preferring a more classic and traditional finish. However, the Quooker combination tap and an InSinkErator, which are incorporated in this design is worth investing in and are immensely useful.
